Specific Educational Objectives:

Identifying Client's Schemas:

  February 21, 2026.         1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Consult using therapist's cases
  • Review therapist's own stuck points, emotional reactions,  in counseling clients
  • Identify schemas, including most typical schemas

 Empty Chairs Technique:

March  21, 2026 .          1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Consult  focusing on  therapists' cases
  • Practice using  empty chairs  technique: Schemas, emotions, decisions, relationships or encounters with others.

 Imagery Technique: 

  May 16, 2026.         1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Consult using therapist's cases
  •  Practice at least one imagery dialogue with either a person from childhood,  a current situation, or feelings, beliefs 

Behavioral Experiments: Schema Change

 June 6, 2026          1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Consult using therapist's cases
  •  Practice at least one  behavioral experiment

Therapist Schema group is a  small, closed group of 4-6 participants.  

Participants are responsible financially for any missed sessions.

Make-Up Policy

We know that life happens! While the group format is designed to be small and interactive, if you miss a live session you won't lose out. Participants may make up missed hours by completing a specific written and applied clinical assignment tailored to the missed material, ensuring you will still receive credit.

 For pre-licensed individuals, consultation is not supervision. Consultation may count as training, depending on supervisor's approval. Recommend prior training in cognitive therapy.
