• Introduction to schema assessment tools & clinical interviewing
• Introduction to mode assessment tools & clinical interviewing
•  Maladaptive Coping Styles: Surrender, Avoidance, Overcompensation 
• Group discussion, questions and answers

Limited Reparenting: 
February 21, 2026.           11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Definition, rationale of limited reparenting
• Clinical boundaries and considerations
• Applying limited reparenting  with schemas & modes 
• Practice activity and role-play 

Experiential Schema Intervention Techniques 

March 21, 2026.               11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Chair work: Parent -child dialogues, parts of self dialogues, interpersonal dialogues
• Guided imagery rescripting for schema repair
• Group demonstration & role-play practice

Schema Modes Techniques 

May 16, 2026.               11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

• Review, Q & A & avoidance/overcompensation strategies
• Modes overview: Child, maladaptive coping, internalized caretaker, healthy adult
• Interventions: mode dialogues, empathic confrontation, chairs, imagery
• Triad role-plays with feedback (therapist, client, observer)

Overcoming Therapeutic Impasses

June 6, 2026.           11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Review of schemas, modes, using emotional techniques, limited re-parenting
• Schema Diary: clinical applications 
• Strategies for overcoming therapy impasses: therapist self-reflection, alliance, repair
• Group discussion, final practice, and next steps for continued skill development
